Privacy Policy (PDPA)

Introduction

A Vocal Affair Pte Ltd (“AVA”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal data through our website, including its online Shop, account features and Custom Blend enquiry form, and through our artist management, event and creative services.

1. Personal data we collect

Depending on your interaction with AVA, we may collect your name, organisation, email address, phone number, billing and shipping information, order history, account information, correspondence and transaction records. Our Custom Blend form may collect event titles, dates, venues, budgets, artistic preferences, production requirements and documents you upload. Please avoid submitting unnecessary personal or sensitive information in attachments. Payment details may be handled directly by our payment service provider; AVA may receive payment status and transaction identifiers.

2. How we collect data

We may collect information when you contact us, submit a booking enquiry, request a quotation, purchase a product, register for a workshop or event, subscribe to updates, engage with our social channels, or work with us as an artist, vendor or partner. Our website may also collect technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and usage data through hosting, analytics or cookies, if enabled.

3. Purposes of collection and use

We use personal data to respond to Custom Blend and other enquiries, develop recommendations, prepare quotations and contracts, coordinate artists and productions, manage online Shop accounts, process orders and payments, arrange fulfilment, handle returns and customer support, maintain website security, comply with legal obligations and send marketing communications where permitted.

4. Disclosure and overseas transfers

Where relevant to these purposes, we may share limited personal data with represented artists, event partners, venues, production personnel, shipping and fulfilment providers, website hosts, payment processors and professional advisers. Some providers may process data outside Singapore; where applicable, AVA will take steps required under Singapore law to ensure a comparable standard of protection.

5. Consent and marketing

Where consent is required, you may withdraw it by contacting us. You may opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe option, where provided, or by writing to us. Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing and may affect our ability to fulfil a requested service. We will handle withdrawal requests within a reasonable time.

6. Access and correction

You may request access to or correction of personal data we hold about you by contacting our Data Protection Officer. We may need to verify your identity and may charge a reasonable fee for an access request where permitted by law. Requests are subject to applicable legal exceptions.

7. Protection and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or loss. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure. We retain personal data only while needed for business or legal purposes, and cease retention or anonymise it when no longer necessary.

8. Cookies and third-party websites

Our website may use cookies or similar technologies for functionality, security and analytics. You can manage cookies in your browser, although some features may not work as intended. Links to external websites, ticketing platforms, payment providers and social networks are governed by their own privacy practices.

9. Data concerning other individuals

If you submit personal data about another person, including an artist, employee or event participant, please ensure you are authorised to provide it and that any necessary consent has been obtained.
